Danis Properties has been in operation for over thirty years. During that time we have maintained a commitment to excellence in the area of property development, management and tenant relations.
Our first project in 1974 was the purchase and rehabilitation of a 125,000 SF historic mill in Watertown, Massachusetts. The property was redeveloped into a first class office and industrial property and in 1978 Danis Properties received the Watertown Annual Revitalization Award. In 1987, Danis Properties purchased The Ship Restaurant in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. In the early '90s this landmark site on Route 1 was redeveloped by Danis Properties and reopened as Ship's Wharf, home to such well-known businesses as the Christmas Tree Shops and Yankee Candle. In 2007 Danis Properties sold the Ship's Wharf property but retained an adjacent five acre property with plans for future development. In 1989, Danis Properties purchased an industrial mill building in Hudson, Massachusetts along with an adjacent property which house several office and industrial tenants. Danis Properties most recent project has involved the renovation of an old rubber tire manufacturing plant in Reading, Massachusetts, converting the site from industrial use to a retail center. The 250,000SF Market Basket anchored shopping center was opened in 2008 as 128 Marketplace and includes the Reading Athletic Club, Wine Bunker and K&G Fashion Superstore as tenants.
Our Business Model…..is to acquire, develop, manage and lease office, retail and industrial real estate in New England. When we review a property we first evaluate its market position and potential. Then we design a plan to reposition, develop and reintroduce the property to the marketplace. This results to providing a cost efficient and attractive space for tenants. Today, our tenants rely on our commitment to quality and excellence.
